The signing ceremony for the AgiBot-Lens robot intelligent production line project cooperation agreement was held in Huizhou on the afternoon of July 10. Party Secretary Liu Ji and Vice Mayor Duan Zhihui attended the event and witnessed the signing. Li Qiang, Chief Supply Officer of AgiBot Innovation (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd., and Chen Yunhua, Vice Chairman of Lens Robot (Changsha) Co., Ltd., were also present at the event.
At present, the city is mobilizing its full strength to develop the artificial intelligence and robotics industry, accelerating the full-industry-chain deployment of AI. The Huiyang Embodied Intelligence Industrial Park has already attracted a cluster of leading industry players and core component manufacturers, covering the entire chain of business operations including hardware manufacturing, data services, and operation and maintenance support.
Following tripartite consultations between Huiyang District, AgiBot Innovation, and Lens Robot, AgiBot Innovation plans to entrust Lens Robot with the production of its robots. The project is set to be located in the Huiyang Embodied Intelligence Industrial Park. In its initial phase, it will primarily focus on the production of half-size robots, with a planned production capacity exceeding 1,000 units in the first year, and will subsequently expand to other AgiBot product series.
It is learned that AgiBot Innovation (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd. is a provider of one-stop intelligent productivity solutions for general-purpose embodied robots, underpinned by embodied intelligence as its core, a general-purpose AI foundation model as its underlying support, and a full-stack proprietary technology system. Lens Robot (Changsha) Co., Ltd. has in recent years made strategic moves in the embodied intelligence space, collaborating with leading robotics companies both domestically and internationally. Representatives from leading enterprises in the embodied intelligence industry chain, including EVE Energy, Wolong Electric, Shuanghuan Company, Woer Material, and Kaizhong Precision, attended the event. Moving forward, the city will designate “AgiBot” as the flagship enterprise for the embodied intelligence industry chain, and will work to jointly build Huizhou’s embodied intelligence industry ecosystem by attracting external companies to settle in while encouraging local enterprises to participate in the chain.
