On July 20, an expert panel from Guangdong visited Huizhou, aiming to learn more about Huicheng High-tech Zone’s latest effort in becoming a provincial-level high-tech zone. Many senior officials, including Mr. Zhou Mutang, an inspector from Guangdong Science and Technology Department, and Ms. Li Junling, Vice Mayor of Huizhou participated in the event.
Li Junling pointed out that Huicheng District shall act in accordance the work deployments by the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and Guangdong Provincial Government, seize the rare development opportunities created by new initiatives, accept the constructive suggestions from experts and build a high-level high-tech park that highlights the utilization of advanced technologies, complete industrial chain, beautiful environment, and availability of supporting facilities. The goal was to create a provincial-level high-tech park soon.
Huicheng High-tech Zone is one of the seven key industrial parks in Huizhou, each with a projected output value exceeding 100 billion yuan, and its advantageous industries are electronic information and advanced equipment manufacturing. In 2020 it was selected by Huizhou municipal government and became a candidate for provincial-level high-tech zone.
