On May 24, Deputy Mayor of Huizhou, Yu Jinfu, presided over the city's Industrial Investment and China-ROK (Huizhou) Industrial Park Construction Work Conference. During the meeting, top leaders in Huizhou discussed the allocation of investment, land use, and construction for industrial projects as well as the development blueprint of the China-ROK (Huizhou) Industrial Park.
Under the intensifying China-U.S. trade friction, the country's export is going to face a tougher situation. The officials attending the meeting reached a consensus that all counties (districts) departments must think outside the box, be innovative in formulating working mechanisms, accomplish projects one by one, overcome difficulties with feasible measures, and strive to meet the overall target for this year.
At the meeting, the Huizhou top leaders stressed that all counties (districts) should realize the importance of accelerating the construction of China-ROK (Huizhou) Industrial Park, explore new cooperation mechanism for the Park, and continuously improve the level of industrial cooperation with the ROK. All counties (districts) governments were required to assess the export status of enterprises, and help companies with high dependence on foreign exports to minimize the impact brought on by the trade friction. All-level government departments should continue to solicit support from higher-level authorities and steadily carry out investment promotion events accordingly.
